This resort style pool, is located directly behind the community clubhouse (photo to left).

The community clubhouse offers a spacious fitness area & large community gathering area. A children's play area is located right next to the pool area.

Independence has a 2nd community clubhouse which offers a billiard room, a fitness room, business area, children's party room and a gathering area.

A 2nd pool is located behind the clubhouse along with tennis and basketball courts, play area for children and a dog park.

Lake Hancock and Lake Speer are the 2 lakes located in the community. Lake Hancock is a wonderful ski lake currently accessible for the lakefront homes. A future public boat ramp is planned as well.

Beautiful park areas are in between some of the streets offering beautiful landscaping, benches and walking paths. Many of the townhomes also have park areas facing the front of the home as well as some of the single family homes.
